Tips:

● Each taller stitch is crocheted by adding one extra “yarn over” to the number used in the previous row. You can find a photo tutorial for “taller stitches” on Crochet Concupiscence; tutorials are at

● Try to keep growing the height of your stitches for as long as possible. You’ll notice that the tallest stitches are much harder to make than the short stitches, and yet you’ve established a pattern of slowly growing the work so that it is not as difficult as if you’d just started out by trying to crochet triple treble height stitches into the foundation chain. This represents how big growth is difficult but can be done when you take baby steps!

● Some people aren’t comfortable working with long foundation chains like this. You can start with a shorter chain if you’d like. Alternatively, you can start with a foundation single crochet chain.
